    • Responsibilities:


      • Leads and manages a team of seven (2 direct reports and 5 indirect reports)
      • Collaborates closely with Finance to set short and long-term sales (AOP/LRP), gross margin and inventory targets.
      • Partners closely with Finance to submit weekly, monthly (SMI) and quarterly forecasts (QO).
      • In Partnership with the finance, team leads Weekly Sales Review meetings as well as monthly Business Review with Brand CEO.
      • Create annual monthly sales and inventory plans by store and by department which tie to the annual operating plan and align with top-down global seasonal product strategies
      • Lead the detailed BU level direct channels OTB (open-to-buy) plans based on top-down guidance provided by global team. This includes developing sales, gross margin percentage, shipment, and inventory and W.O.H. targets at department/class level.
      • In Partnership with the wholesale team, forecast and manage pre-book orders for all categories.
      • Consistently monitoring inventory levels within European warehouses (Retail, Outlet and .com) to ensure optimization across business units to maximize sales potential, minimize risk and inventory liability (i.e. wholesale in-season reorders, ecommerce, 3rd party disposition, transfers to other geographies, etc.)
      • Liaison amongst Wholesale Operations, Logistics and E-commerce teams to balance inventory needs across channels
      • Partner primarily with the stores & field team, Operations, Distribution Centre, Buying, Inventory Management and the Visual Merchandising teams to ensure inventory optimization
      • Oversee teams development and maintenance of weekly and monthly reporting tools
      • Own Planning and Allocation team’s annual budget and forecasted spend
    • Oversee the Buying function, ensuring Planning, Allocation and Buying functions are aligned in product assortment strategies by location
    • Lead markdown strategy in partnership with global merchandising, buying and wholesale team.
    • Define never out of stock core product and manage team to ensure that stores always have minimum depth required.
    • Licensing relationships – placer order for all licensed categories in DTC, hold quarterly hindsight meetings, negotiate T&C, swaps, contributions and RTVs


    skills and abilities required:

    • Minimum 10 years merchandise planning, buying and inventory management experience
    • Highly commercial, numerate and analytical and familiar with demand planning and buying processes; operates with a clear command of key financial drivers in driving a business
    • Advanced computer skills in Excel and retail planning systems
    • Management/ supervisory experience a must
    • Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market
    • Experience of working with a global company/brand
